Smoothies are one of my go-to’s, they are so easy, convenient, and delicious. The great thing about smoothies is that you can literally put anything in them. I want to give you 5 of my favourite breakfast smoothies, not that they aren’t great for any time of the day. These are all so different to one another, but so delicious. Let me tell you what they are:

My Go-to Green Smoothie raspberry-kale-green-smoothie2srgb

Green smoothies are so amazing because they are great to pack in healthy ingredients with high micronutrient values. This ensures that you are going to start off the day with a smoothie that your body will love, since it is so healthy. Here is what I use:

  • 150-200ml apple juice
  • 1 handful spinach
  • 1 orange
  • 1 handful kale
  • 4-7 strawberries
  • 1 TSP honey

You will notice that I have used honey in all of the five smoothies, but please use any sweetener that you like! If you want a low calorie sweetener, stevia is great, otherwise use whatever you think tastes best (try and stay away from white refined sugar). You will also notice that I use soy milk rather than dairy milk, this is because I have grown up on soy and can’t drink dairy milk, it makes me very sick. There are so many different types of milks that you can substitute, such as dairy milk, almond milk, oat milk, coconut milk and rice milk.

Smoothies are so great, and they are amazing if you are wanting something quick and convenient to drink. I love these ones, and they are my go-to’s, but if you a smoothie lover like me I am sure you have your go-to’s, so please let me know what they are!

I really hope that this post has helped you and that you gained a little bit of knowledge from me. I would love to get to know you, so comment below.

Until next time!

Lots of Love,

Milli xxxx
